Summer Wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe

Last summer, we had the pleasure of photographing a truly stunning wedding at The Ritz Carlton in Lake Tahoe. The bride and groom, Tyler and his lovely bride from Auburn, CA, have a special connection to this beautiful place.

For Tyler, Tahoe holds cherished memories from his childhood, spent at his family cabin in West Shore, and his love for skiing at Homewood. It was actually his impressive snowboarding skills that caught the attention of the bride and made her fall in love with him.

Their bond with Tahoe runs deep, as they have celebrated many Valentine's Day occasions in this picturesque place, whether it's been at Tyler's cabin or exploring Tahoe City. It was during their college years that they both fell in love with NorthStar, which is why they chose it as their wedding location.

The wedding itself was a labor of love, with the bride's dad personally crafting the wooden centerpieces for the dining tables. What makes these centerpieces even more special is that the wood used is from Auburn, CA, connecting the couple to their hometown roots.

Tyler and his bride have a close-knit group of friends, with a total of 11 bridesmaids and groomsmen between them. Celebrating with their friends meant the world to them, as they truly are the glue that holds their group together.
