Real Summer Jewish Wedding at Chalet View Lodge: Jon & Arielle’s Traditional Celebration of Love in Lake Tahoe

When Jon and Arielle first crossed paths online in 2016, their connection was brief, but fate had something else in mind. Fast forward to March 2021, and they found each other once more—this time, it was meant to be. Their love story quickly blossomed, and they knew they had something special.

Their Story: From Fate to Forever

Jon and Arielle’s love story was sparked by a twist of fate, rekindled after several years. For Jon, the moment he realized Arielle was the one came after an allergy-related trip to urgent care, which allowed them to bond quickly and deeply early in their relationship. For Arielle, it was the fourth date. She called her mom, saying that either she was crazy, or she was going to marry Jon—it felt that right.

The Perfect Venue: Chalet View Lodge in Lake Tahoe

Jon and Arielle wanted their wedding to be an immersive experience for themselves and their loved ones—a celebration filled with love, nature, and the beauty of the outdoors. Chalet View Lodge, nestled in the stunning landscapes of Lake Tahoe, checked every box for them. It was not just a venue—it was a place to create lasting memories with family and friends.

With its breathtaking views and serene mountain setting, Chalet View Lodge exceeded their expectations, offering the perfect location for their wedding weekend. Their vision was to have everyone stay on-site and fully embrace the beauty and adventure that Lake Tahoe had to offer.

A Wedding Inspired by Summer Elegance and Jewish Traditions

Jon and Arielle’s wedding was all about summer elegance with a rich color palette of burgundy, blues, light corals, pinks, and soft cream/ivory. They infused their ceremony with meaningful Jewish traditions, adding another layer of depth to their celebration. The personal touches, combined with breathtaking nature, made this day as meaningful as it was beautiful.

The couple wanted to make their wedding unique by having an entire weekend celebration. From the ceremony to the reception, and the unforgettable moments in between, they wanted to share their love with those who meant the most to them. The weekend wasn't just about the wedding—it was about creating a space for everyone to enjoy, relax, and celebrate together.

Unforgettable Moments and Memories

Jon and Arielle had some unforgettable moments that they will cherish forever. For Jon, it was watching Arielle come down the aisle, sharing the first bite of BBQ on Friday, and dancing with family and friends. For Arielle, the most memorable moments were the kiss, Jon breaking the glass, and sitting with her loved ones during dinner, taking in the beauty of the day.

For them, the key moments they’ll remember are all about people and joy—celebrating with friends and family while surrounded by the beautiful backdrop of Lake Tahoe.
