A disco, wildflower extravaganza wedding at Chalet View Lodge

Alexandra and Justin's wedding was one for the books. They chose our favorite venue, Chalet View Lodge, for their special day and turned it into a disco, wildflower extravaganza. You might recognize Alexandra from the Netflix show Selling Sunset, where she represented one of the founders of Wag, the dog-walking app.

Alexandra and Justin are music lovers and often attend music festivals and concerts together. It's their happy place, along with spending quality time at home with their dog Norman. So, when it came to planning their wedding, they wanted it to be a reflection of their love for music and the outdoors.

They had a blast during their cake, food, and cocktail tastings. There were lots of laughs, a buzz in the air, and even a sugar high. But the most exciting part was choosing their venue. They wanted to be surrounded by nature, with mountains and lakes as their backdrop. And they wanted a place where their guests could stay and party all night long. Chalet View Lodge had everything they were looking for and more.

When they first discovered Chalet View Lodge, they fell in love with it through a virtual tour. They never thought they would make such an important decision without seeing it in person, but their gut feeling was right. When they finally visited the venue, it exceeded all their expectations. They were thrilled to find a place that allowed them to have an outdoor wedding with no curfew and where everyone could stay onsite.

One of the most unique touches of their wedding was the Disco Shark. It's a disco ball in the shape of a shark that hangs at Coachella and other popular music venues. The artist behind Disco Shark agreed to create one for Alexandra and Justin's wedding, and they hung it over the dance floor. It holds a special meaning for them, representing their love for music and their relationship.

Their guests were in for a surprise when they saw the Disco Shark for the first time. Some of them already know how special it is to Alexandra and Justin, so there might be a few freakouts. But that's all part of the fun and excitement of their wedding day.

As photographers, we were thrilled to be a part of this Lake Tahoe wedding at Chalet View Lodge. You can also see this wedding featured here.
